How our body processes moulds in food

How does our body process mould toxins ingested with food? Jonas Specht, food chemistry student at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität (WWU) Münster, was recently granted the Study Award for the best master's thesis in the field of food chemistry for his outstanding master's thesis on this topic by WESSLING. This is the fifth time we awarded the prize, which is endowed with 1,000 euro.

Land recycling: drone flight over former Opel plant

In a joint project of WESSLING, the Institute for Landscape Ecology and the Institute for Geoinformatics of Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster (WWU), the use of a drone on the site of the former Opel plant 1 was tested. WESSLING had initiated the cooperation and supported Pia Pickenbrock’s study project from the study group IfgiCopter.

WESSLING among Germany’s best employers

WESSLING convinced in the largest employer study and made it into the Top 100 in Germany. The results of the Trendence Graduate Barometer 2018 were published in the magazine CHEManager. They show which employers and industries are particularly popular with science students and which criteria they use to select their jobs.
